What Is a Church At Home?
A Church at Home is an extension site of Chapel Valley Church and is made up of a smaller group of people who participate in our weekly Church Online gathering together. These gatherings will meet together physically, generally at someone’s home, to listen to the message, have conversation developed around the discussions questions, and worship and pray together. Church at Home gatherings will allow for us to take the next step as we move towards being together, while practicing and adhering to current safety guidelines, standards, as well as people’s varying comfort levels.
We believe these gatherings will also increase our missional impact of seeing people “Discovering Life in Jesus” by training, developing, and empowering leaders, while reaching and seeing others come to Christ. Our hope is that many people in Chapel Valley Church will decide to host a Church at Home gathering, and invite those within their immediate sphere of relationship or influence to attend as we endeavor to make room for the Lord to build His church.
