We are His workmanship – God, through Christ, planned, fashioned, and set in motion that when a person steps into Christ, God’s will and our will come together to create a new creation called Saint. And the sum of the saints is called The Church. The following prayer from Ephesians 1:17-19a is a request for each Saints to fully grasp knowledge of this workmanship.

“Father of glory, we ask that You would give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of all You desire for us. That the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of Your calling for us, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in us Your saints, as well as what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe in You and Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.”

That we should walk in good works – We should deeply know at the foundation of our new existence that it is God’s desire that His manifold wisdom be made known by the church to the principalities (rulers) and powers in the heavenly according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. The following prayer from Ephesians 3:16-19 is a request for each Saints to be strengthened with His fullness so as to walk out good works.

“Father, we ask that You would grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in our inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in Your love, may be able to comprehend with all Your saints what is the width and length and depth and height—oh, that we may know the love of Christ which passes knowledge and that we may be filled with all Your fullness.”
